"Friendship"

A friend is a friend
Forever, a lifetime
Of love and kindness
Sharing and understanding
Neverending trust
A love of sorts

My friend
She is beautiful
In my eyes
She can be no other
She cares, she hides
A mass of contradiction
But a friend nonetheless

She struggles like me
Constantly asking
Constatnly hoping
Always feeling let down
Upset sometimes
But trying
To help others
Even as she struggles herself

She is strong
A veritable pillar of strength
But afraid
Of me
Of sharing her thoughts
Trying to protect
A noble thought

But friends share
Help each other
And cannot be hurt by sharing
Will be there always
A commitment stronger
Than any contract

I am here
Whenever she is ready
To share with me
As I do with her
I do not condemn
But love all the more
For she is a friend
As am I

"Friends are friends forever
If the Lord is the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
Cause the welcome will not end"

A thought of another
Which fits this scene
I will be friends forever
If she will let me
My dear one I care
As I know you do to

Take my friendship and love
And care for them dearly
I give them freely
And would that you enjoy them
For as long as you can
For they are yours
No strings attatched

My friend
You know her well
She is near you all
We will be together
Inseperable
Forever
