"Carrie"

Her shining eyes draw me close
Her lips, sweet as honey
Her smile the sun, melting the ice of my heart
She heals, she helps, she takes away my pain
A guardian of the last stronghold of my life

Her mind, sharp and clear
Breaks through my walls of protection
Her hands, soft, caring
Touch me, lift the pain, the scars
Her voice, soothing, calming me

I love her, least I think I do
All she has, I need
All my desires, she fullfils in one small instant
A rose, a swan, beautiful to watch
Beautiful as the setting sun
All these and more is she

I hope she understands
My love, my heart, my mind and soul
They are hers to keep, to carry with her
Be she next door, down the road, or the other side of the world
I will always love her
I will always be hers
I love you
