"Eyes of Blue"

Gaze into my eyes
Fall deep into the depths
The seas of icy blue
Grow lost within
Experience what lies inside
A powerful surging sea of emotion
Of truth, of all things internal

Deep inside
Experience my love
My unending, loving care
A haven from pain
Suffering, and self-torture
A place to relax
To recover
To be held, cared for, and loved

Beware
The doorway closes easily
And bars those outside
From gaining entry inside
Beware
Lest you cause the door to close
For once closed, it is not easily opened
For those who slammed it shut

A sea of eternity
Full of emotion
A turbulent ride
Filled with adventure

My eyes tell all
My life story poured out for you
Make your choice
To know or to hide
To be in between
Is to get caught
As the door slams shut

My love is there for the taking
For the taking, for the giving
All that lacks is someone to receive
I am an open book
All you must do is read
The words I am not saying
The lie in my eyes
An open book
Ready to be read
