Poem written by Benjamin Wiechel "The Blooming Rose"A tiny rosebud Shaken by a soft spring breeze A reltionship in the beginnings Small, fragile Easily hurt, easily torn apart With time it grows Slowly growing Larger, stronger The sunlight feeds it As love feeds a relationship And one day The rose opens into full bloom Showing all its beauty Its strength and determination To make it all the way Be like the rose Start small Build big And never forget All the hard work Love, and determination It took to get there It is too easy to forget And be torn apart by the wind Love is a precious thing And should not be belittled Or thrown by the wayside Remember your roots Remember it all Remember the rose And be happy Back to the poetry list. |
