"Bodiless Beauty"

A voice sweet as nectar
A smile worth a thousand words
She calls to me out of the void
Calming my fears
Smoothing my demeanor
Her voice a lifeline to another world

I listen, wooed by the sweet
Tantalizing sound of her voice
A river of sweet honey
Pouring over my soul
I close my eyes
Her face appears
Eyes twinkling
Her hair flowing

This sweet flower
Could I listen to forever
A reminder of that
I once searched for
A dream that never
Could be attained
A Beauty lost to me

To this beautiful woman
Would I gladly tell
The words of happiness
Of joy
That I feel when I hear her
The power she holds over me
The tenderness, sweetness
Of the only thing I know of her
Her voice
