"Adrenalized"

Close your eyes
Feel the power begin to course
Swiftly through your body
Starting at your chest
And working down towards your hands
Your legs and feet
Feel it overcome you
Slowly at first
But gaining strength and speed with time
Feel the sheer energy
Coursing through you

Feel it turn dark
Feel it turn into rage and anger
Feel it rip through you
Forcing your face to frown
Your eyes to glow red in the darkness
Feel the sheer agony it creates
Feel the power, the ultimate power
Feel yourself lose control
Emotions a whirlwind
Your actions barely controllable

Feel the burn inside
The pain of your suffering
Feel how it overcomes
And makes you writhe

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This is my daily torment
To be haunted by my agony
To be controlled by my hatred
You wonder why I act as I do
Why I am so cold
My emotions
They often rule me
How can you hate me
For that which you can feel in yourself
Less strongly perhaps
But there nonetheless

Look into my eyes
Feel the beat of my heart
Feel the power of MY adrenaline
Feel it course through you
Now you know
My daily torture
An intangible force
Barely controlled
Driving me on each day
My stamina
My strength
And my weakness
All rolled into one
